Bus and trolleybus tickets
For Vilnius city visitors it is recommended to use single ride tickets, limited days tickets or monthly card.
Single ride ticket
Single ride tickets have to be validated each time you get on a vehicle. Single ride trolleybus or bus ticket price is from 1,50 up to 3,00 LTL. It might be purchased at drivers cabin or in any city newspaper kiosk.
E-Ticket
An E-Ticket is available, too. For the first time users it is necessary to buy a card. The card can be used both for single and monthly public transport tickets.
Limited day tickets
For few day visitors it is available one-, three- or ten-day public transport ticket.
These tickets are available on 4 spots only - newspaper kiosks marked with Lietuvos spauda sign at addresses:
Geležinkelio St. 16 (near the Railway Station),
Sodų St. 22 (near the Bus Station),
Laisvės Ave. 60 (near the Press Palace),
Gedimino Ave. 2 (near the Cathedral).
Minibuses
One can catch a minibus in the street, ask the driver if your direction is on the way, get into fast and furious vehicle and loudly tell the driver where you wish to get off. A trip on a minibus costs 3-4 LTL and is paid to the driver.
